The 62nd Drama festival is running from

The Iniscealtra Festival of Arts (29th
May – 7th
June 2010).
This years theme of Myths and Legends promises a varied and exciting programme
including: Music (traditional/classical/contemporary), Visual Arts exhibitions
and talks, both local and international in collaboration with The Irish Museum
of Modern Art (IMMA) and The Burren School of Arts. Dance, Contemporary and
Ceili, Film, Green Fair, Craft and Art activities and a variety of workshops
open to all including Traditional/World music classes. Free outdoor lakeshore
concerts, storytelling, puppetry, demonstrations and participatory activities
for all the family. Main lakeside events take place over the Bank Holiday

Feakle Music Festival 4th-10th Aug-10

5 Days of music, song, dance with concerts, Céili's, workshops,
lectures, recitals, singing and sessions. The Festival is based in the homely
village of Feakle, East Clare, Co. Clare, Ireland. The Feakle Music Festival has
it's origins within the rich array of musical talents that abound on the East
Clare area. From the era of the house dance, through the Hall dances and pub
sessions - a rich tradition has been maintained and strengthened thus eminating
in a very successful Music Festival. The Festival started some years ago in 1988
and has gone from strength to strength. It is now respected worldwide as
one of the best of it's kind in the country.
Tulla Traditional Music Festival

The 3rd Annual Tulla Traditional Music Festival is a weekend packed with
wonderful music, song, dance, concerts, céilithe and workshops. This year we are
showcasing some wonderful fiddle and flute players, with special guests, Martin
Hayes, Mike Rafferty and Willie Kelly. Our Fiddle and Flute Rectial on Sunday
evening is not to be missed with all of the above joined by Eileen O'Brien and
Deirdre McSherry and of course our local virtuosos Vincent Griffin and Paddy
O'Donoghue. A weekend of set dancing to the music of our own great Tulla Céili
Band on Saturday night and the closing Céíli on Sunday night which has a magic
of its own with music by Andrew MacNamara, Martin Hayes, Mark Donnellan and Jim
Corry. Saturday night's Concert in St. Peter and Paul's Church is a two part
concert featuring Martin Hayes and Denis Cahill, you will enjoy an hour of
Martin and Denis performing their unique and extraordinary style of music. This
will be followed in a completely contrasting style by the wonderful foursome At
The Rackett, when you will experience the joy, spirit and pure fun that is Irish
music at its best.
The Ennis Trad Festival -
(November) is a festival for those who love to hear (or play)
Irish traditional music of the highest quality in its most natural setting. Now
in its twelfth year, the festival brings together the very best of Irish
traditional musicians in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Over 20 venues host
selected exponents of the music, carefully mixed and matched to ensure a choice
of many great sessions.
